Singing Workshop – Storytelling And Singing

This Saturday we are running the next of our monthly Singing Workshops helping you to develop and strengthen your singing voice.

This month we will be focussing on storytelling and singing. There is more to singing than just delivering the right notes in the right places; songs have a story to tell and being able to communicate these stories effectively is part of the whole fun of singing!

The Workshop will look at:

• Songs as stories – connecting with and conveying the words
• Basic song structure
• Diction and pronunciation
• Emphasis and punctuation (breathing)

We will also be working on songs in the Workshop, using these as examples to tell (sing!) a story effectively.
