We currently run quarterly Singing Workshops for women in conjunction with our Wednesday and Saturday Singing Sessions.
In each workshop, we focus on a different area of singing technique to help you get the most out of your voice. Check out our Frequently Asked Questions for useful information about attending our workshops.
“Listen To The Music”
When: Saturday 23rd February 2019, 10.30am - 12.30pm
Where: The Unitarian Church, Berkeley Street, Glasgow G3 7DS.
Do you concentrate so hard on not making mistakes that you forget to perform? Do you struggle to express your personality on stage? Do you feel there are too many things to think about during a performance? Then this is the workshop for you.
In this workshop we will be focussing on dealing with the things that can overwhelm you during a performance and prevent you from enjoying the experience.
We want you to feel confident in your voice, and your ability to sing and perform, whether you are singing on stage, in an informal setting or to the cat!
This Workshop is designed to help you whether:
• You've never really sung before
• You've sung a bit but would like to feel more confident in your voice
• You've sung before and would like to get your voice moving again
The Workshop will look at:
• Engaging with your audience
• Engaging with other performers
• Following direction
• Connecting with songs
We will be working on songs during the Workshop, using them to put the techniques you have been learning, into practice.
Book your place (£16) on Saturday 23rd February 2019.
Please let us know if you have any additional requirements.
We look forward to singing with you!
