Singing Workshop – Focus On Listening

Where: Unitarian Church, 72 Berkeley Street, Glasgow G3 7DS (Please note this is our new venue for all our Sessions and Workshops on a Saturday morning)

Cost: £15

This Saturday we are running the next of our monthly Singing Workshops helping you to develop and strengthen your singing voice.

This month we will be focussing on listening to yourself and others when you are singing.

The Workshop will look at:

• Focussing on your own part when others around you are singing something different
• Being aware of how your part fits in with the other parts of a song arrangement
• Creating a harmonious whole sound
• How to avoid causing problems for your fellow singers!

We will also be working on songs in the Workshop, particularly thinking towards the opportunities for performance coming up. Whether or not you wish to take part in these performances, learning more about how to listen and sing harmoniously with others will help you to develop more confidence in singing and maintaining different parts .
