Our Songbirds Singing Groups for women take place face-to-face at our venue, the Glasgow Unitarians Centre on Berkeley Street, on a Wednesday evening (7.00 - 9.00pm). They are also available to join online, if you are not able to come along in person in Glasgow.

This Group Is For You If:
- You have some singing experience and are looking to improve
- You want to build confidence as a singer
We are currently taking a couple of weeks’ break, at the end of term, and will be back for the next Group term at the beginning of April.

Songbirds and Performance
In our Songbirds Groups there is some focus on performance, but there is no pressure to take part in performances if you don’t feel quite ready yet. We will warn you however that many people have started off feeling reticent about performing only to become addicted to the experience!

Our repertoire of songs is extensive and varied, and we are always open to suggestions for new additions.

We are using the Zoom video conferencing app for our online Singing Groups. Once you have signed up, we will send you details of how to download and use the app and how to join the session.
If you are new to singing, we also offer a 12-week Beginners Course.
Group Membership
If you would like to try us out, you can choose to pay weekly (via the links above) for up to 3 weeks*, after which we will ask you to set up your Group Membership. Becoming a member is easy, we’ll tell you how to set up your automatic weekly payment for the rest of the term and, once that’s done, you’ll be able to take advantage of all this great stuff!

- Audio practice tracks (melodies and harmonies) for songs
- Tips for practising and recording
- Song lyrics
- Vocal exercises
*You don’t need to wait the whole 3 weeks before setting up your membership. We are confident that you will love what we do, so you can sign up earlier if you wish!

In our Wednesday Songbirds Group you will:
- Learn singing techniques to strengthen your voice
- Become a more confident singer
- Work on multi-part harmony arrangements
- Improve your performance technique
To help you learn more about your voice, we cover all aspects of vocal technique in the groups through working on a variety of songs.
There are no auditions and you don’t have to be able to read music.
We continue to build on our repertoire of songs for performance, and there are frequent opportunities to perform at external events.
